Banks are open from 9.20am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
In New Zealand tips are not expected for normal service even in restaurants and bars and it is up to you if you are happy with the service and decide to leave a tip. Hotels and restaurants in New Zealand do not add service charges to their bills.
