Work Permits are designed to allow Australian employers to fill highly skilled positions in Australia with an overseas employee. The objectives and purpose of work permits are to enhance Australia ’s ability to compete globally, satisfy genuine shortages in the Australian labour market, maintain employment and training opportunities for Australian residents and to ensure there is a net benefit to Australia .

Work permits can be valid for three months to four years and the validity of your visa will rely on the employment contract between you and your Australian Employer.
