The Skill Occupation List is a collection of occupations eligible for points under the General Skilled Migration Programme. One of the basic requirements of the General Skilled Migration Programme is that you must have at least 12 months work experience in an occupation that appears on the Skills Occupation List (SOL).

Occupations are awarded 60, 50 or 40 points based on the level of demand for this occupation and the skill requirements of the occupation. Each occupation on the Skills Occupation List is designated to a Skills Assessing Authority. To be awarded the applicable points for your occupation, your work experience and qualifications must be assessed by the relevant Skills Assessing Authority as suitable for migration in your nominated occupation.

Migration Occupation in Demand List (MODL)

Some applicant’s can be awarded bonus points if their occupation appears on the Migration Occupation in Demand List (MODL). We have incorporated both lists for convenience. If your occupation is eligible for MODL points you will see a "Yes" in the MODL Column.
