
A spouse visa is simply permission or the right to have leave to enter the UK based on your marriage to either a UK citizen or an individual who is settled and present within the UK . The visa when granted allows the spouse to live and work in the UK without restriction and can ultimately lead to ILR and naturalisation.

Both the Spouse and UK citizen or permanent resident that they are marrying must be over 21 years old on the date that the Spouse arrives in the UK if applying from overseas.
